Session Info


Sessions are aimed at 1-5 year olds, but it is up to you if you think your baby is ready for Messy Play.  Babies in arms are free.  Once baby is ready to play, they must have a ticket – Sibling tickets are discounted.

Arrival – Please make sure you check in on arrival, and Kath will tick you off, you do not need to bring your email ticket, unless you book on the same day as the event. Sessions will start promptly. Doors will open 10 minutes prior to start time.

Registering – Please book in to the sessions you would like to attend online here  Takapuna Events  or  Meadowbank Events

Payment – Thank you for purchasing your ticket online, some door sales will be available in Term 2 while we crossover to being fully online for ticket sales.

Prices – 
Meadowbank Sessions $18 for one child or $25 for two children 
Takapuna Sessions $18 for one child or $25 for two children
If you book in advance for more than one session, prices are discounted.

Timing The session will run with a quick welcome and explanation of each messy station, so please hold your children back until the start time when you get the GO!!! Then free play to discover all the stations, followed by mat time at the end, and a quick story while everyone gets cleaned up.

10.00am – 11.00am – Meadowbank
11.00am – 12.00pm – Takapuna

Clothing – There will be some messy smocks available, and a limited number of coveralls for the younger ones to try out.  These are optional, and please wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting messy in (you and your child), it might also be wise to bring a change of clothes and a towel. 

Shoes – If possible wear gumboots or crocs or similar to help with slip prevention, and prevent paint / slime etc marking shoes. Bare feet is another option, just be careful with slippery surfaces.  Please help to discourage running for safety reasons.
